Burma's decision was announced at an Association of South East Asian Nations emergency meeting in Singapore, according to the news service The United Nations is estimating that more than 2 million Burmese need assistance in wake of the storm.
At least 134,000 people now are known to be dead or missing from the two-day cyclone.
Meanwhile, the AP notes that black-market videos of the carnage are hot sellers in Burma
